Harbhagwan Lake Trek

Harbhagwan Lake Trek

Harbhagwan Lake Trek – Harnag Lake Trek

The Harbhagwan Lake Trek is one of Kashmir’s most enchanting and offbeat alpine adventures, starting from the picturesque Aru Valley near Pahalgam. Nestled at an altitude of around 3,750 meters, Harbhagwan Lake is a stunning glacial lake surrounded by snow-draped peaks, wildflower meadows, and crystal-clear mountain streams. Perfect for those who wish to explore Kashmir beyond its famous destinations, this trek offers solitude, raw beauty, and a true Himalayan wilderness experience.

Unlike popular trails such as Tarsar Marsar or Tulian Lake, the Harbhagwan Lake Trek remains relatively unexplored, making it an ideal choice for trekkers seeking peace and pristine landscapes. The route takes you through Aru, Arampathri, and Harnag Lake, each revealing breathtaking Himalayan panoramas and diverse terrain — from pine forests to alpine pastures and rocky ridges. This moderate trek is perfect for adventure lovers and nature enthusiasts looking to experience the untouched charm of Pahalgam’s high-altitude lakes.
